INQRI Webinar Series
Since its inception, INQRI has offered a series of webinars designed to educate grantees and inform the public about our work. Over the years, we have designated themes to package our webinars as part of individual series.
In 2009, we debuted a "Measurement Triplicate" which included a discussion centered around the National Quality Forum (NQF) nursing-sensitive measures as well as sessions with the Collaborative Alliance for Nursing Outcomes (CalNOC), the National Database for Nursing Quality Indicators (NDNQI), the Veterans Administration Nursing Outcomes Database (VANOD), the Joint Commission, as well as NQF.
In 2009-2010, INQRI continued a partnership with the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation regarding medication management. In 2007, we united with the Moore Foundation to plan a day-long convening which brought researchers together with stakeholders to discuss the impact of medication errors. We continued this investment with a series of webinars related to these issues.
Another exciting partnership was forged in 2009 with the Donaghue Foundation when we organized a Funders Forum. This forum brought researchers together with funders to discuss the challenges centered around translating research into practice. We continued this discussion with a series of webinars focused entirely on translation which took place in the spring of 2010.
Since 2010, we have also featured a variety of webinars focused on the IOM report, "The Future of Nursing: Leading Change, Advancing Health." In fact, in 2012, we initiated a series of eight webinars, each of which focus on issues surrounding one of the eight recommendations featured in the report.
For the 2012-2013 academic year, we launched a series focused entirely on the dissemination and implementation of evidence-based practices. The six webinars in this series provided the vehicle for our final cohort of grantees to present their findings.
